WHO SHOULD ATTEND


YOUTH CONSUMER ADVOCATES


We invite youth health consumers, advocates, and carers to register and take part in the YHF national Summit. It will have discussions on how to have your voice heard, networking opportunities to meet likeminded young people and the opportunity take part in collaborative discussions on what young people need from the health system.


ORGANISATIONAL ATTENDEES

We invite health and youth-based organisations to attend the YHF national summit! It will feature specific health issue based discussions, networking with young health advocates from around the country and in-depth discussions on how organisations can better listen to and communicate with young people.


RESEARCHERS AND STUDENTS

We invite researchers and health students of all disciplines to attend and take part in the summit. it will be an opportunity to network with other researchers, youth advocates and health consumers. Hear from leading experts on engaging young people on health issues, co-design with, and advocate for health consumers as well as take part in the youth led development of key healthcare priorities for government stakeholders.


HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND CLINICIANS

Clinicians and health care providers should attend the summit to take advantage of sheer number of youth health advocates and voices that will be in one place. You will be able to connect and network with passionate young people who can provide ideas on how your services can better support youth engagement. You will also have the opportunity to take part in workshops and skills development to ensure you are maximising your co-design potential.


POLICY MAKERS

Policy makers should attend to hear from the vast array of voices at the summit. They should listen in on the discussions on the future of youth health. This will identify key priority areas that young people want to see more action on. The other major opportunity is to network and meet with young health consumers and advocates, it will provide policy makers with clear ideas of what young people need from them.
